Dalya Bordman

Attorney

Dalya is an attorney at Megan Thomas Law dedicated to helping individuals navigate some of the most difficult moments of their careers.

About Dalya

She is passionate about advocating for employees who have experienced sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, disability discrimination, and other workplace injustices. Known for her thoughtful approach and meticulous legal analysis, Dalya works closely with clients to help them understand their rights and pursue meaningful outcomes.

Before joining Megan Thomas Law, Dalya practiced matrimonial and family law throughout New York State, representing clients in divorce, custody, and family-related matters. She began her legal career at The Legal Aid Society’s Juvenile Rights Practice as an Attorney for the Child in Bronx Family Court, where she advocated for children in custody and child welfare proceedings. These experiences strengthened her ability to guide clients through emotionally challenging situations with compassion, clear communication, and strong advocacy.

Dalya has a particular interest in disability rights and workplace protections. While attending Syracuse University College of Law, she earned a Certificate in Disability Law and Policy and participated in the Disability Rights Clinic, where she represented New Yorkers in matters involving workplace discrimination, access to government services, and educational rights. She also gained valuable experience in corporate compliance, conducting legal research and advising on complex regulatory and risk management issues.

Dalya graduated summa cum laude from Syracuse University College of Law. During law school, she served as President of the Student Bar Association, was a member of the Syracuse Law Review, and was inducted into the Order of the Coif in recognition of her academic achievement. She also earned a Master of Public Administration from Syracuse University’s Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.

Dalya is admitted to practice law in New York. She is also admitted in Missouri, where her license is currently inactive.

Outside of the office, Dalya enjoys spending time with her family and cooking.
